[it takes a few moments, while Tempest waits to see if anyone else gets the door. When they don't, she sighs and answers it herself, cracking it open just enough to peek out, then all the way]
[She thought about texting Chloe, but she doesn't think a human is capable of hitting anything that hard with their bare hands. That leaves one other logical correspondent.]
[once she's calmed down enough and left to the bunk she's taken over as her own for the last few days, she finally checks her tablet. She shouldn't be surprised to see messages, after what she did to the door]
[Slightly backdated to earlier on the 26th.] If you're getting this, you wanted to know more about the clones. I'm going to tell the network what I know soon, but here's a copy of my notes.
[Attached is a file she received from the AI; it's a video (shaky, from a handheld device) of a production of Swan Lake. Or, well, almost. There are subtle changes in choreography and music, though the spirit of both remain the same. The plot is much the same, but with a few small variations. The name of the production isn't included, but if it were, it would be different as well.
[if only you could see the delighted expression on her face while she watches this. She's never been much for dance and music, but plays were a secret, guilty pleasure. And seeing something performed like this, well. It was a surprise that she liked it so much]
It is wonderful! Thank you for sharing this with me.
[when Tempest finds it, she makes a . . . very confused face because 1) someone got her something again?! and 2) what the hell even is this monstrosity. Of course, the text from Caspian answers that question]
Thank you, Caspian. I see you were speaking with Loki.
[it really shouldn't be a surprise that when Sev picks Tempest up, without warning, Tempest's first instinct is to turn around and punch whoever it is—she only manages to stop herself because she senses Sev a second before she hauls off. It doesn't stop the half-scream, half-squeak noise that slips out, though, and Tempest just scowls deeper before letting Seviilia do what she pleases.
She wasn't about to argue a free ride, at least. Not when things were hurting and she was out of breath and the elf was much faster than she was]
[Seviilia vocalizes nothing, expresses nothing. She had gone with the intent of returning what was due in turn for Koltira's assistance and instead came out with a spiteful crater in her stomach. Tempest was an unexpected find, but not a casualty she was willing to risk.
Or perhaps she was carrying her now to tell herself that he was full of shit -- that he would not let her go, that he would simply chase once she thought she was free. Like wild animal. Just as Seviilia herself would have done.
Her expression changes just a hit with that thought, jaw setting stubbornly.]
