And I have not, really. I do not understand a lot of what is being said. I have never been arrested nor faced prosecution before.

Well, that is not entirely true, but I have never had my guilt put into question before. It is actually quite amusing.

And also impossibly infuriating, for how long it is taking them.

Though, I do have a question. The elf who you fought with - is your magic the same as his? I am admittedly not familiar with it.

Koltira? Yes. He is my military superior. We are both Death Knights -- constructed purely on necromatic and shadow magic.

[She backspaced "is" and changed it to "was" about ten times before she finally sent that message.]

Normally I would ask if there was something wrong with that, but it looks even sillier now that I have typed it out. Dark magic for dark purpose and all that.

[She finds herself almost genuinely disappointed. Tempest's company had been one of the better ones since her arrival -- but unlike many Death Knights, she relied on additional necromancy spells to stay upright.]

It really is. I was going to offer to find ale and see if you did not want to drink together one day.

I would not say no. But I must warn you, it takes quite some time for me to get any sort of alcohol to stick.
