Ah... hm. If you need to stay here a while because of... [gestures vaguely at the bottles they are about to go to town on] ...then it's fine.

[blinks, glancing down as he gestures, then back at him]

It's only morning... you could probably make it home before nighttime.

Otherwise we have spare beds at the moment...

Raven and Knives... they were with us the longest.

I never met Raven . . . Knives was a sweet girl, though. She offered to teach me modern words.

[grandstanding]

Raven didn't really... believe in making friends with other teams.

She didn't see the point... Fawn used to be targeted a lot in contests. We died a lot. She didn't... couldn't see how it was worthwhile having friends when that would happen.

Especially after the one with protection...
