54. The second encounter ★ (Neutral Neutral)
FIGHT MEMORY FIGHT MEMORY.
After recovering from this, Maias and Tempest return to the swamp to try and find the rest of their group. What they find instead is a trap, set by whatever this monster is. Thankfully, they find the rest of the group at the same time, and while they are caught off-guard, they're determined not to let the monster separate them again.
TL;DR IT IS A VERY EPIC FIGHT WITH LOTS OF MAGIC AND SPELLS AND THEN BREIS CUTS THE THING'S HEAD OFF and I will explain it better at a later point
55. "You're the oldest here, you should act like it." ★ (Neutral Trivial)
Narrative.
tl;dr: Tempest approaches Maias to set some ground rules, and in doing so takes his daggers away. He willingly parts with them in order to "prove" his trustworthiness (HAHAHA), and the two share some words before Tempest tells him to behave himself, he tries to argue, and she basically tells him to act his age, because otherwise he's being childish.
What she learned:
- no matter how much Maias goes along with what she asks she will never trust him
- the man is almost in his 40s and acts like a child, Maias pls
- she is absolutely petty and takes pot shots at his age when she can
