This takes place shortly after the events of this memory.

tl;dr after almost dying she wakes up, bickers with Maias, falls into familiarity with him which is AWKWARD AND WRONG AND WHY and then finds out that he's some sort of undead that can't really be explained.

The strikethrough is part of the memory that cuts out, because it's an important plot point and I don't want her knowing that much just yet
