1. A Dwarven bar and a challenge ★ (Trivial Positive)
So in this memory, Tempest makes a stop in one of the dwarven villages near where her home village is, and immediately makes her way to one of the taverns. There's a bit of tension at first, because she's immediately mistaken for an elf, but after she assures them (in Dwarven) that she isn't, they're pretty okay with her being there. They don't inquire as to exactly what she is, either.
So then, one of the dwarves at the bar, still not too impressed with her, challenges her to a drinking contest. She readily accepts! And spends the next few hours downing ale after ale alongside the dwarven man. She keeps up fairly well with him, too, thanks to being part-elven and having a very high alcohol tolerance.
What she learned:
- She's not human
- But she's not elf either
- She can drink a lot
- She knows another language, but not what it is
- She's young in this memory - 19 or so.
2. Tricked into questing with a party of HEROES. ★ (Neutral Neutral)
So, Tempest is a mage for hire, which means that either she picks up jobs in the capital, or people seek her out. In this memory she ends up taking a job for magical protection - nothing out of the ordinary, because she's usually hired for that when she isn't being hired to kill a dude.
. . . except the group that hired her are a bunch of former knights from the capital who go around helping those in need and fighting evil things for no pay. And since she accepted the job and part of the payment (BEFORE they told her what they do), she can't back out either.
So, cue a week of Tempest trying to avoid hanging around these guys until she's needed, failing miserably, and getting suckered into hijinks with them. There's also a lot of death threats, cursing in various languages, threatening in general, and locking them out of her inn room more than once.
There's also some of her doing what she's actually hired to do, even though there isn't all that much fighting EVIL!!!! to the heroes' disappointment.
What she learned:
- Her name is Tempest! She's also called The Tempest in this memory, because people who dont know her and have only heard OF her know her as that.
- She's older than her first memory! Around 22 or so.
- She hates heroes. Hates, hates, hates.
- She's NOT a good guy. At all.
- She's a mage for hire/mercenary, usually hired for her magic.
- And a powerful one, since they came looking for her specifically.
- She usually handles less-than-savory work, though being a MURDERER!!1 isn't mentioned in this one.
- How to cast magic, in theory.
- HOW TO CURSE. She doesn't have her language skills back so this only counts in Common but she has a mouth on her :'D
- She's a loner, and this only intensifies when people bother her
- She has a . . . really bad . . . hold on her temper . . .
